Even though I could not see the video, I’d like to answer the question: What constitutes style?

I adopt a rule: I always try something (within reason) at least once before I decide it isn’t worth doing, or that I don’t like it. It means that my style has been changing and has been recycled.
So, I also believe that we can never change our own style for someone else, unless I like it too.

In my point of view, style is much more than fashionable and expensive clothes. There are different "types"of style, depending on people`s taste, financial conditions, personality...but on the top of that I think that style is a matter of attitute and posture towards life, rather than what you choose to wear.

Yes, contrary to popular belief, style can't be equated with clothes or haircut. I feel it includes them, but it is certainly not restricted to them. Aspects such as body language, voice and, most importantly, attitude play a central role in the development of one's style.

Have you checked out the website on street style? There's an interesting audio slide show about handbags. My favourite is the Gucci bag, with tassels. Which is your bag of choice?

First of all, style is way beyond fashion. Fashion is a like a supermarket, where you can find hundreds of choices for each product. But to build your own style, you choose what fits best to your body and personality. Then you add posture, attitude and you have it! Jacqueline Kennedy is the most perfect example: she had style because of all that.
