To what extent can the teaching of EI in schools bring benefits to society?

I think the teaching of EI in schools can take place because schools are the territory where people can interact with others and make a group of friends. According to the author, he thinks that emotional difficulties tend to drop out when people are able to study and socialize, and school is one of the best places. If educators starts looking out for this possibility , it will, of course, bring profitable benefits to society.

Yes, society would certainly reap the benefits of the teaching of EI. Yet, I suspect there's more to it than meets the eye. Correct me if I'm wrong, but EI also involves resilience, which may be an innate, and therefore unteachable, quality.
